The Manhattan Institute cordially invites you to a special event featuring Senator Dave McCormick (PA) on artificial intelligence and the American future.

Senator McCormick will deliver a keynote address on the opportunities and challenges of the AI revolution. His remarks will address key policy questions facing the U.S. government, including the impact on work, data center developments, national security considerations, and the intersection of technology and children’s safety. Following the address, Manhattan Institute President Reihan Salam will join Senator McCormick for a fireside chat.

Pennsylvania’s 54th elected U.S. Senator and the ninth West Point graduate to serve in the chamber, Senator McCormick brings a rare breadth of experience, having built a successful business career alongside senior national security and economic roles in the federal government. He has emerged as one of Congress’s leading voices on artificial intelligence, convening the Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit, which announced more than $90 billion in energy and AI investment across the Commonwealth. He is widely recognized across print and television for his thought leadership on AI and its consequences for America, its workers, and its families.

This event will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person.

We hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a timely and substantive conversation on one of the defining challenges of our moment.
