Young Americans Aren’t as Liberal as We Thought

A Democrat-ruled future is by no means certain, if recent polling is anything to go by

Maybe history isn’t moving in the Left-wing direction it was supposed to.

A Harvard-Harris poll shortly after Hamas’ terrorist attack on Israel found that Americans aged 18-24 were evenly split – 52-48 – between siding with ‘Israel’ or ‘Hamas’. The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) 55,000-strong surveys of undergraduates show a 2.5 to 1 Democrat-to-Republican lean among American students (there is a 6 to 1 tilt against the Tories among their British counterparts). American young people who don’t attend university are also not much more Right-leaning than those who don’t.
