Sanjana Friedman
Sanjana Friedman is a fellow at the Manhattan Institute and contributing editor of City Journal, where she writes about San Francisco, tech, and the state of California. She is a writer and researcher at Y Combinator, the leading technology startup accelerator. Her work has also appeared in Pirate Wires and The San Francisco Standard.
Friedman holds a B.S. in mathematics from Stanford University and an M.Phil in history and philosophy of science from the University of Cambridge, where she graduated with distinction and wrote a thesis on the French physiologist Claude Bernard. She lives in San Francisco.
