Noah Williams

Noah Williams is an adjunct fellow at the Manhattan Institute focusing on macroeconomics—particularly monetary policy, social insurance programs, and financial markets—as well as state economies. He is a professor of economics at the University of Miami and is the founding Director of the Center for Research On the Wisconsin Economy (CROWE).

 

Williams is a regular contributor to City Journal, publishes widely on economic policy, and co-authored several papers with Nobel Prize recipients Lars Peter Hansen and Thomas Sargent. Previously, he was the Juli Plant Grainger Professor of Economics at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

 

Williams is a member of the Economic Advisors Roundtable organized by the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. He earned his Ph.D. and B.A. in economics from the University of Chicago.
