Karl Abramson is manager of external affairs at Manhattan Institute where he helps lead government relations across the federal, state, and local levels. His work focuses on translating the Institute’s ideas into tangible policy reforms. He also contributes to the Institute’s public opinion research.

Previously, Karl worked in policy research at Zeta Charter Schools, one of New York City’s leading charter networks, where he advanced initiatives to expand access to high-quality public education.

He received his B.A. from Rice University in Houston, Texas.
