Christian Browne
Christian Browne is an adjunct fellow on the Cities team at the Manhattan Institute. An attorney in private practice, Mr. Browne began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in New York County (Manhattan). Prior to working as a lawyer, he served as Deputy Director of City Legislative Affairs in the administration of New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. He has remained active in government and politics throughout his career.
Mr. Browne is a member of the board of the Aid to the Church in Need, a Brooklyn-based organization that supports the work of the Catholic Church in distressed areas around the world. He is regular contributor of opinion and legal analysis articles to the New York Daily News, New York Post and City Journal and is the author of a historical play, The Pearl of Great Price: Pius VI & the Sack of Rome.
