For their critical work to keep speech free and culture flourishing, the Manhattan Institute will honor Harvey A. Silverglate and Bruce Kovner with the 2016 Alexander Hamilton Award. The award will be presented at the annual award dinner on May 9, 2016.
This will be the sixteenth Alexander Hamilton Award Dinner, an annual black-tie fundraiser held at Cipriani 42nd Street in Manhattan. The award was created to honor individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the nation’s civic and intellectual life. Both honorees this year are paragons of the Hamiltonian values the award exists to recognize: civic leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and intellectual dynamism.
