Logos Initiative
The Logos Initiative exists to expose corruption within America’s institutions and mobilize public opinion to achieve concrete cultural and policy reforms needed to restore institutional integrity.
About this Project
In 2023, the Manhattan Institute announced the establishment of the Logos Fellowship, an accelerator for emerging journalists and activists directed by senior fellow and City Journal contributing editor Christopher Rufo.
The inaugural cohort of Logos Fellows broke stories that drove international news cycles and effected change in American culture and policy.
The success of the Fellows led to the establishment of the Logos Initiative, dedicated to rigorous investigative journalism and the careful study of the relationship between rhetoric and political power.
Fellowship
The Initiative hosts an annual cohort of Logos Fellows. Fellows are external partners of the Manhattan Institute who convene for a three-day retreat where they discuss the principles and practices of policy activism. Following the retreat, Fellows work closely with Chris Rufo and the Logos team to devise and execute advocacy campaigns addressing some of the most pressing policy and cultural issues of our time.

Apply for Role
The Logos Initiative is currently hiring a team of investigative reporters to investigate, expose, and combat ideological corruption in America’s institutions.
These reporters will collaborate with Chris Rufo, Antonin Scalia, Armen Tooloee, and the City Journal team to produce in-depth investigative reporting that drives debate and informs constructive policy change. Interested applications can find additional information and a link to apply here.
2025 Summit
Additionally, the Logos Initiative will host the Summit on Rhetoric and Political Power in the Spring of 2025. The Summit will convene practitioners from the Executive and Legislative branches of state and federal government to explore the relationship between rhetoric and political power. Over the course of a weekend in Washington, D.C., participants will attend lectures, working groups, and panel discussions on shaping public opinion and advancing actionable policy ideas.
