When Eric Adams became mayor of New York City, he declared that his first 100 days in office would be about “Getting Stuff Done.” And there’s a lot to do, from tackling the city’s rising crime to bringing jobs back and training the workforce of tomorrow. On April 6th we will take a close look at our city’s challenges—and promise—in the Adams era. Are Mayor Adams’s initial months in office—as well as the 100-plus ideas he rolled out during his campaign—a window into the future of New York City?

This event is a capstone to MI’s New York City: Reborn project, which has advanced new ideas on how to bring the Big Apple back bigger and better than ever. In this conference, we will turn to the voices leading the city’s recovery now and into tomorrow—to hear from them, engage with them, and learn how we might restore New York City in all its promise.
