Tuesday May 2016

Speakers

Karl Rove Former Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to George W. Bush, Fox News Contributor and Wall Street Journal Columnist

Take 2! MI is pleased to welcome Karl Rove to the Young Leaders Circle on May 24th. Please RSVP for this event online (see below) as soon as possible; space is limited and a waitlist will be created when we reach capacity. I'm looking forward to talking to Rove about his new book The Triumph of William McKinley: Why the Election of 1896 Still Matters and, of course, the 2016 race for the White House. There is much to discuss.

Rove served as Senior Advisor to President George W. Bush from 2000-2007 and Deputy Chief of Staff from 2004–2007 and is known as "The Architect" of President Bush's 2000 and 2004 campaigns. Fred Barnes, executive editor of The Weekly Standard, has called him "the greatest political mind of his generation and probably of any generation. He knows history, understands the moods of the public, and is a visionary on matters of public policy." Rove writes a weekly op-ed for the Wall Street Journal and has taught at UT Austin's Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs.
