Jonah Goldberg Author, The Tyranny of Clichés: How Liberals Cheat in the War of Ideas; Editor at Large, National Review Online

"Liberals and conservatives alike are ideological, but conservatives admit it, and they talk about their ideology openly," argued Jonah Goldberg recently in a heated exchange with CNN's Piers Morgan that quickly went viral online. "Liberals don't admit it. They don't even admit it to themselves."

On June 6th Jonah discussed this encounter and many more associated with the publicity for his new book book, The Tyranny of Clichés: How Liberals Cheat in the War of Ideas, which had already hit the New York Times bestseller list. In The Tyranny of Clichés, Goldberg argues that liberals toss around euphemistic terms like "social justice" in order to obscure their real agenda. The book has been called a "grand slam" by Indiana governor Mitch Daniels and a "must read" by actor Vince Vaughn.

Goldberg is the editor-at-large of National Review Online, a syndicated columnist, and the author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, from Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning. He is a visiting fellow at the American Enterprise Institute as well as a Fox News contributor.
