On March 4, Gallup Chairman and CEO Jim Clifton addressed YLC members on the current state of the U.S. job market. Since 1988, Clifton has served as CEO of Gallup, a leader in organizational consulting and public opinion research. Under Mr. Clifton's leadership, Gallup has expanded from a predominantly U.S.-based company to a worldwide organization with 30 offices in more than 20 countries. The company’s most recent innovation, the Gallup World Poll, is designed to inform government officials and industry leaders alike on what the world’s 6 billion citizens are thinking. In his book, The Coming Jobs War, Clifton identifies job creation and successful entrepreneurship as the world’s most pressing issues.
