Andy Puzder has been called the “consummate capitalist”—combining business acumen with a full-throated defense of free enterprise. As CEO of CKE Restaurants, Puzder took the parent company of Hardees and Carl’s Jr. from near-bankruptcy to a powerhouse in the foodservice industry, with more than $4 billion in annual revenue and employing more than 75,000 people. At a time in which other CEOs have been reluctant to enter the public-policy fray, Puzder has done just the opposite. Drawing upon his experience in business and knowledge of how labor markets work, Puzder has publicly taken free-market stances on issues from the minimum wage to the Affordable Care Act.
Please join us on Wednesday, September 12th as YLC hosts Puzder to speak on his recent book, The Capitalist Comeback. RSVP below—we hope to see you there!
