Senate GOP Adds Individual Mandate Repeal to Tax Overhaul Plan
Last night, Senate Republicans announced they will attach a provision to their tax plan that would repeal the requirement that all Americans have health insurance.
Chris Pope has been a leading critic of the Affordable Care Act's individual mandate—arguing that it “has done little to increase enrollment, to reduce insurance premiums, or to alleviate the burden of uncompensated care.”
